Scope of the Position This job is diverse in the mechanical ability to perform general plant operator duties. Work includes tank truck and railcar vessel opening, loading and unloading, operation of pumps, piping, valves and general plant upkeep and maintenance. Also, assists the Acid and Shift Utility Operators or other plant personnel as needed. This job requires climbing stairs and ladders and also lifting (within OSHA guidelines). Scope of the Position The Quality Control and Lab Supervisor is  committed to producing quality, safe and legal products that meet or exceed our customer’s specifications. Directs the work of three laboratory analysts and quality inspector(s).   What You Need To Be Successful - Minimum of five years’ lab experience in a Food and/or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with at least 2 years of supervisory experience - BS degree preferred, AS degree in Chemistry - SQF Practitioner with HACCP training preferred - Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for active bulk pharmaceuticals (API) - Working knowledge of both wet chemistry and lab instrumentation including AA, pH, Sieve Analysis - Good problem solving skills and ability to act independently and on one’s own initiative - Good interpersonal skills - Must have experience involving USP/EP testing requirements and cGMP and cGLP regulations - Written and oral communication skills - Good mathematical abilities and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel   Key Responsibilities - Develops written test procedures as per compendia methods. - Trains Analysts on approved test procedures and provides written documentation of training. Manages caustic pellet inventory. - Maintains label control system and oversees printing and issuing of all labels. - Maintains customer specifications and ensures in-process testing aligns with specifications when customer orders are produced. - Creates and distributes all Certificates of Analysis to customers. - Supervises QC inspection of finished product. - Trends test data and reports potential problems to Quality Management. - Maintains Good Housekeeping practices in the laboratory. - Maintains and performs laboratory calibration schedule - Maintains and performs stability schedule. - Works with Quality Manager to maintain laboratory supplies within annual operating budget. - Implements and or maintains GFSI Global Food Safety Certification (SQF) - Follows all GMP rules and help coach others to comply with GMP rules as necessary - Performs other duties as assigned. Scope of the Position The primary focus of the Driver/Operator is to support the plant by performing all required driver operator duties and responsibilities, in a safe and effective manner. In this role, the Driver/Operator is responsible for handling and transportation of bulk liquid commodities, which include hazardous materials. The vast majority of our deliveries are local, where you will be returning to the home location at the end of every shift. Overnight trips and business travel are seldom required.   Position: Driver    Shift: Monday to Friday 40 hours/rotational   Key Responsibilities - Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks, safely and with the required paperwork. - Load chemicals into the tank trailer, and accurately complete Bills of Lading, certificates of analysis, and other documents. - Must follow all applicable DOT, Chemtrade EHS rules and regulations, plant operating procedures, and those of the customers when on their property. - Complete and maintain safety, quality, and ISO documentation and records. - Unload raw materials from tank trucks. - Maintain plant and vehicle cleanliness. - As required, produce Liquid Aluminum Sulfate, Aluminum Chloride, Aluminum Chlorohydrate and blends according to Company Standards and Procedures. - Follow production and maintenance schedules with Plant Supervisor.   What You Need To Be Successful - Must have valid CDL Class A with Hazmat and tanker endorsements. - Preferred to have 3 to 5 years of tank trailer driving experience with liquid bulk commodities. - High School Diploma or GED. - Possess a clean driving record (MVR) for past three (3) years. - Provide proof of experience or training to safely operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade. - Provide valid medical card and be physically qualified to perform the required work. - Meet Department of Transportation qualifications as required by CFR 391. - Must be able to work a flexible and changeable schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and overtime. - Must possess customer service experience, verbal and written communication skills, and computer knowledge. SCOPE OF POSITION   Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for but are not limited to maintaining, rebuilding, repair, and the preventative maintenance of all plant operating equipment and facility buildings and grounds,safely and in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures.   Position:  Hourly $39.27/hr Shift: Day shift, overtime and call outs, as required What You Need To Be Successful - 3 plus years of relevant experience in industrial or chemical environment highly preferred. - High school diploma or GED equivalent. - Ability to use computer effectively, Microsoft programs, maintenance management system, e-mail, etc. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer’s literature, diagrams or schematics. - Ability to work off-shift requirements including: periodic emergency call out during off shift, including weekends and holidays. - Must be capable of performing tasks in all-weather and at times, height while wearing personal protective equipment.   Key Responsibilities - Tank vessel opening and clean outs, - Perform certified welding, cutting and burning. - Perform pump, gearbox and motor repair. - Perform mechanical power transmission coupling and sheave alignment. - Changing of piping, valves - General plant upkeep and maintenance . - Serve on emergency response team - Complete all work instructions (work orders) and forms relating to maintenance, safety, and preventive maintenance while observing all safety operating procedures.   Reports to:  Maintenance Supervisor   CHEMTRADE is a publically traded (TSX: CHE.UN) chemical manufacturing and handling company headquartered in Toronto, Canada with 65+ locations across North America and Brazil. Scope of the Position The maintenance technicians are primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment’s in accordance with manufacturing or site’s specification, and general facility maintenance activities. They are also required to support site electrical activities as needed.   Position: Maintenance Technician   Shift: Monday to Friday 40 hours/on call after hours   Key Responsibilities - Install, troubleshoots, and repair process equipment, which include hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems such as pumps, gear reducers, exhaust fans, boilers, compressors, conveyors, packager, and a wide range of facility equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment. - Interface with OEM’s and vendors as necessary. - Support inventorying and management of spare parts. - Recommend changes and improvement to the existing equipment in order to improve reliability, accuracy, or further optimize process. - Accurately completes all work performed according to work instructions, including proper documentation. Completes work orders using CMMS (facility dude) system. - Perform repairs and modifications as directed by Maintenance Manager. - Support and participates in training programs. - Supports site safety programs. - Support/leads failure analysis process by discussing the causes of equipment failure with other stakeholders. - Perform assigned preventive and corrective maintenance on plant systems and equipment’s. - Other duties as assigned with or without accommodations. - Coordinate equipment availability with the appropriate personnel. - Operation of a forklift truck, aerial man lift, railcar mover, pay-loader, and passing a company administered proficiency test is required. - Complete and maintain safety, quality, and ISO documentation and records. What You Need To Be Successful - High School Diploma or GED. - 2 years Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Similar Technical Field - 3-5 years mechanical experience in a chemical manufacturing operation as a pipefitter, machinist, millwright, or similar. - Welding skills. - Professional with strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and P&ID. - Must have an understanding of units of measure and weight and perform conversions. - Ability to communicate with courtesy and tact when furnishing or obtaining information from both fellow workers and other departments. - Experience operating mobile equipment’s such as forklift, man lift, front-end loader, shuttle wagon, and or other heavy equipment. - Experience with a CMMS such as SAP or Facility Dude. - Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision - Must be available to work overtime as needed for business continuity, this include (but not limited to) call-outs on off-shifts and weekend.
